about the bus:
The Rainbow Book Bus is a collaborative venture that will travel the South giving free LGBTQIA+ books to youth who need them. All kids deserve to see themselves represented in books, have access to queer stories, and the autonomy to choose their own books.
We know Dolly would have loved the rainbow book bus. We like to think she would have joined us in it, fighting against censorship and hatred, in what’s arguably a school bus in drag!
